A selection of approximately 40 sculptures, reliefs, plasters and photos dedicated to naturalistic subjects: powerful, life size
zebras, pelicans, humming-birds and many other wild animal images. Inspired by his passion for wild animals and nature, the artist intends to focus the visitor’s attention on the importance of protecting and preserving the biodiversity of the Planet.
The International Year of the Biodiversity 2010 is for... Vitaloni, the perfect opportunity to spread this message of the need for protection of the environment. In fact the exhibition has been approved by ONU and included in the calendar of the celebration on biodiversity 2010 : www.cbd.int/2010/calendar
His outstanding, hyper realistic works made from bronze fusions and wooden pastes, both oil paint finished, will allow visitors to take a virtual tour around different habitats.
The exhibitions is under the patronage of the Italian Cultural Institute of London.
The film Director Renato Cerisola (music by Francesco Vitaloni – Sing Sing Production) will present his documentary film about the artist during the exhibition. Fulco Pratesi, the italian President of WWF, together with Alasdair Macleod, Head of Enterprise
and Resources of the Royal Geographical Society, will introduce the exhibition with a speech during the opening ceremony at 6 p.m. on 22 October 2010.
